We are always focused on supporting the communities in which we work and live. As such, we’re proud to sponsor the Maitland Saints AFL club which, like many amateur sporting clubs, relies on volunteers and community support.

NSW Client Solutions Specialist Ben Dickinson is a loyal member of the club, playing as well as coaching the Auskick team for many years.

Eager to get his son involved in AFL, Ben proactively encouraged him into the sport some eight years ago and the family connection has been strong since. It seems Elastomers and the Maitland Saints share similar family-focused values.

“It’s challenging to get funding in the heartland of rugby league, but every year I have seen the club grow bigger despite this challenge,” Ben said.

“Some junior divisions run two teams, and the girls’ and women’s teams are recruiting more players each year.”

With a strong contingent of AFL lovers in the Elastomers Australia team around the country, we are excited to see our sponsorship of this club being put to good use.
