DIVERSITY OF ROLE TURNS ‘STEPPING STONE’ INTO LONG-TERM CAREER
Before Jason Clifford commenced his role with Elastomers Australia 16 years ago, he’d never worked in mining.
“One team” is something that drives the Elastomers Australia Singleton branch every day.
Established 26 years ago, the Singleton branch now has a team of 29 personnel servicing 25 mine sites in and around the Hunter Valley region of NSW.
Singleton is one of Elastomers Australia’s regional hubs, responsible for manufacturing, supplying and servicing innovative screen media solutions to customers.
The team has a strong track record of constantly meeting – if not exceeding – the requirements of mining and mineral processing customers.
Committed to continual improvement, all team members are eager to learn, adapt and help whenever and wherever required to ensure they can efficiently and consistently maintain the positive reputation that has been built up over the years.
As such, Safework NSW recently provided positive feedback to the branch for upholding the highest OHS standards.
According to Singleton staff, the strong sense of team – both within the branch and across Elastomers Australia’s national network – plus the close working relationships with customers, are the secrets to Singleton’s success.
That sense of team motivates everyone to have a hunger to succeed – and that attitude carries across every team members’ professional and personal pursuits.
