2023 presents transformative opportunities

All the very best for the year ahead from the entire team at Elastomers Australia.

Two months into the new year, 2023 is shaping up to be an exciting year for the company.

We are placing ongoing focus on continuous improvement in the ESG space, continuing to evolve the ways in which we go about our business.

This is not only for the benefit of our own staff and their families, but for our customers and the wider community. It is the responsibility of every business to improve environmental performance and while some initiatives may seem like small steps, it is the sum of all parts that matter. That includes operating in cleaner, greener and more socially responsible ways and Elastomers Australia continues to innovate and improve in every aspect of our business operations.

Our safety performance mirrors that of the broader mining industry – we are firm in our commitment to zero harm for everyone involved and will continue to look at ways to reduce and ultimately eliminate risk.

Our joint venture with Novum Energy Australia to recycle rubber is progressing with testing underway and results expected soon. At the same time, plans are moving forward on the establishment of recycling facilities. We will bring you more news on this initiative in coming months.

In 2022, our commitment to building a strong workplace culture was recognised with Elastomers Australia receiving the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Award for Leader in Diversity and Inclusion. We continue our focus on building high-performing teams in all areas in which we operate. With the right people who have a passion for the industry, we are well placed to continue to grow and achieve great results with a constant focus of delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.

This year has the potential to be transformative for the company and we look forward to sharing further updates with you throughout 2023.
